| 知春亭 Heralding-Spring Pavilion The pavilion is located on an isle on the eastern shore of Kunming Lake. When the ice begins to thaw in earlz spring, willows around the pavilion turn tender green, hence the name of the pavilion. |

| 長廊 Long Corridor The Long Corridor twists and turns its way. It is a colorful gallerz. On the beams and crossbeams, there are traditional Chinese paintings. Most of the human figures some from Chinese literary classics such as "A Dream of the Red Mansions", "Journey to the West", "Romance of the Three Kingdom", and so on. |

| 南湖島 South Lake Island The South Lake Island, largest of its kind on the Kunming Lake, is linked with the East Dike by 17-Arch Bridge. Surrounded by water on four sides and with a wide field of vision, it is the best place to enjoy the charming scenery of the Summer Palace in the Kunming Lake. |
